• Acoustic or Light Electric - Be mindful of stage volume with electric instruments and drums
• 2 Songs - no more than 10-minutes MAX (If time allows a longer set)
• NO instrument changes during your set
• Keep setup to a minimum
• Let's keep things rolling - be tuned up and ready at least 2 acts ahead of you.
You are the star! Acoustic, solo, duo, trio, light electric, folk, rock, originals, covers - bring it!
All ages are welcome.
Frantic Frets provides the backline, a small drum kit (sometimes electronic kit or electronic cajon), bass/guitars, amplifiers, mics, cables, music stands, stool, and PA with monitors.

The event is free to attend - we do ask that you PLEASE SUPPORT THE VENUE with your purchases of food and beverages.

Please note, we have changing start times and venues. We will also have popup Open Mics at the Frantics - these are announced on our

Frantic Music Group on Facebook.

As part of its mission, Frantic Music Project hosts a number of Open Mic Programs throughout the year at several locations. The open mic program welcomes all ages and is a perfect opportunity for new musicians, singer/songwriters to perform in front of a live audience. Seasoned musicians can try out a new song for feedback. It is also a great way to learn and further develop your skills, and meet fellow musicians for possible further collaboration. There are educational sessions, and we are always happy to answer any questions you may have. Open mics are family friendly and we welcome musicians of all ages.

Frantic Music Community Partners include Morris James LLP, i.g. Burton Auto Group, and Chardon Jewelers.
Thank you sponsors for your support of live music!

Musicians are encouraged to support other musicians by staying and listening to the other performers. So plan on staying a while.

We love an audience! So do the musicians! Even if you don't play, come out to support and enjoy the talents of some of our local artists.

Please support the venues hosting the events by ordering food and beverages.
